First Post

This will be partly a travel blog and partly just an online journal of sorts. It will probably be drippingly self-absorbed at times, but then blogs tend to be. I cannot promise dashing turns of phrase, political opinions you'll agree with, or anything else that might necessarily make this worth your while to read. Only some interesting places and people, and the process of getting from somewhere to somewhere else in one piece.
